Gloria

May 5, 2014Gloriaadmin

Gloria Caeli was built in 2001 by Jonathan Wolfe and friends, using a Piccard-inspired pattern. She contains 168 connected spirals, about 1000 meters of fabric, and took about 6 months to dye and build. The basket was woven by Jonathan Wolfe using a custom pattern inspired by the work of Bert Padelt.
